1st day of school
1st day of school today. You can tell Casey isn't going to school today but wanted to be in the pictures. It's so hard to explain to the younger ones that they don't get to go to preschool/kindergarten until next week. He starts on Sept 2nd. He is going to go to the UVU preschool this year. I figured I will be there anyway I might as well let him go to school there too. I told him he would go to school when summer was over. He has been asking me every day for 3 weeks if summer is over yet. Poor kid. The other kids were so excited to start school this morning. Caitlin has her 2 best friends in her class and C.J. has some friends from last year in his class too. For those of you who don't know the tall girl on the end, she is Madison my niece. It is very quiet in the house today without them.

Princess Festival
Here is Princess Caitlin sitting on her throne. This Princess Festival was a dream come true for her. I love that she still likes to play dress up and is staying a little girl for as long as possible. A lot of girls her age have out grown this but she still loves to play princess. This festival was in Lindon at Hatfieldadelphia. Mr. Hatfield is in my sis in law's ward. This is his house/castle/park. I guess he has like 30 granddaughters and wanted to give them a place to play. For those of you with daughter I highly recommend going to this next year. It was 25 dollars and worth every penny. Caitlin's only disappointment was that I wouldn't dress up too.
So basically at the princess festival you get to go on a quest to see if you are truly a princess. You could hear Rapunzel crying for help in the tower of the castle and all the little princess needed to help save her from the ogre that had trapped her up there because he liked her to make cookies for him. They had to go see a witch to get a magic potion that would make the ogre giggle and leave the tower to save her. They learned how to properly curtsy and then had to show the prince what they had learned. They helped Cinderella get to the ball and then the prince tried a slipper on each girl to find one that fit and then he would ask each girl to dance. It was so cute!
The slipper fits!
