Summer lovin' had me a blast!

C.J's and Casey are both playing baseball and loving it! C.J. didn't think he would like playing baseball but once he found out how to play, and that his dad was coaching, he has loved it ever since. I still need to get some pics of Casey at his baseball camp.

Hey batter batter
.....Swing!

The boys are really starting to love fishing. When they were littler they just wanted to throw rocks in the water, but now they are enjoying reeling em in!

Fishing buddies!

Even Caitlin is learning to like fishing...unfortunately she is like me and will not touch it!

Casey enjoying a snow cone at the school carnival. Nothing says summer like a multicolored snow cone!

One rainy summer day (of which there have been many!) we went up to the Planetarium at the Gateway mall for some free indoor fun, then stopped at Tucanos for dinner afterwards. The kids favorite thing about Tucanos is this fountain. They have to go get their feet wet in it whenever we go.

Don't slip my little clumsy one ;)

C.J. is a little more sure on his feet!

Casey grabbing an after dinner drink...ewww. I have to say that he has drank from MUCH worse. i.e. my grandpa's stagnate mossy pond with a straw, so this I was fine with!

Caitlin Rose next to many roses both in full bloom!

This is baby Ella. She is my BFF Danielle's new baby. Her 4th baby girl. A couple weeks after she had her, Clint let me go to Cedar City to visit all by myself for 4 days! I held her for hours. She staves off my baby hunger for a little longer now.

Wicked!!

On April 10th, Caitlin and I had an amazing time going to see "Wicked". It was seriously the best entertainment I have ever seen anywhere in my entire life! Caitlin loved it just as much as I did. I love having a daughter who can appreciate fine art! I also realized how much fun it is to just have one daughter. I never would have been able to go if I would have had to pay for more that just us two girls in the family! Here are some pictures of us at the theatre.

Caitlin practing her "Glinda" poses. After the play she said that she thinks she was born to play the part of Elphaba because she's always cast as the "bad guys"in a play.

That night we stayed in the beautiful Peery Hotel. It was built in 1910 and has been restored with all its original charm. Caitlin loves antiques and things so this was a perfect hotel for us to stay in. (the tempurpedic beds and ipod dock weren't too shabby either!) this is our hotel room where we had a very good nights sleep.

The next morning we had a delicious breakfast at a local diner, and can I just say...I HATE parking in SLC. There is none to speak of. During this lovely breakfast I got a parking ticket. I guess I was supposed to park in a garage 23 blocks away and then walk to this diner! So frustrating!!

After breakfast we went to the SLC Temple. Caitlins was so excited to go and walk around and actually touch the temple. It has always been her favorite temple and she wants to get married there someday. She said that she could feel the spirit when we went into the visitor's center and saw the statue of Christ. It was a really neat experience for both of us. We had such a lovely time together on this little trip and I hope we have many more to come!

Easter Sunday 09

We had a beautiful Easter this year.
The kids looked so cute
in their new outfits! After church
we had a family dinner.

So cute! I love my family!

I don't even have to tell her

how to pose, this is just what

happens when I turn the camera

on!

My cute boys.

Grandma McGregor died on Jan 14 2009.
She will be missed greatly. She was my only proof that I wasn't adopted
like my sisters all say!

Me and my sisters.

Who puts the "fun" in funeral???

My dad made the mistake of telling the boys to help each other with their boutonnieres. Seriously we are so irreverent! We did have a good time visiting. We all traveled to LA without any of our kids so it was a nice. relaxing, peaceful time. We probably had a little too much fun for a funeral.

About Me
