Moving Day!!

Yep that's right! We are moving...chsshshhsh is this thing on??? WE ARE MOVING....... OH MY GOSH WE REALLY ARE!!! MIRACLES DO HAPPEN!!! THERE IS A LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL!! AHHHHHHH!!! ok.... i'm alright now. Had to get that out. Our new address is 1681 Bullfrog drive Spanish Fork. Isn't that the cutest address you've ever heard? I think so. We are closing on Friday. I went there on Monday night and painted the baseboards and door frames so it is 2 tone. It only took 9 hours. My body is still stiff and sore. Can't imagine why??Maybe we will have a housewarming party when I get it looking all decorated and cute for Christmas. I will add some pictures when we get all moved in.

Fall fun

Okay so I'm really sorry it has been so long since I have last updated my blog! I decided to go to school full time this semester and this blog has really not been a huge priority as you can imagine. A lot has happened since the 1st day of school. Okay first of all, Casey started preschool at UVU which we both LOVE!

His favorite thing is the sensory table. He says "Mommy, there's a sandbox inside the classroom!" There is also a sandbox outside that he spends a lot of time in. This preschool is so great because there is an observation window for students and parents to watch so I can keep a close eye on him. We are in the same building most days so it is very convenient.

Another thing that happened is I ran a half marathon! Who would have ever thought that I would ever torture myself like that? I had been training since January. My time was not great but I did finish. My biggest complaint was it started too late and it was soooo hot. Here is a beautiful picture of me (I kept it small on purpose. ;)

Caitlin was in another play Seussical the Musical. She played Lil' Kangaroo. I loved this play. The music is so good and they just did such an awesome job with the directing, choreography and the stage. It was the biggest production that Caitlin has been a part of. It was a good experience for her, but they demanded a lot time and very hard work. She was very worn out by the end of it and so was I!

Here are some Halloween pictures.

1st day of school

1st day of school today. You can tell Casey isn't going to school today but wanted to be in the pictures. It's so hard to explain to the younger ones that they don't get to go to preschool/kindergarten until next week. He starts on Sept 2nd. He is going to go to the UVU preschool this year. I figured I will be there anyway I might as well let him go to school there too. I told him he would go to school when summer was over. He has been asking me every day for 3 weeks if summer is over yet. Poor kid. The other kids were so excited to start school this morning. Caitlin has her 2 best friends in her class and C.J. has some friends from last year in his class too. For those of you who don't know the tall girl on the end, she is Madison my niece. It is very quiet in the house today without them.

Princess Festival

Here is Princess Caitlin sitting on her throne. This Princess Festival was a dream come true for her. I love that she still likes to play dress up and is staying a little girl for as long as possible. A lot of girls her age have out grown this but she still loves to play princess. This festival was in Lindon at Hatfieldadelphia. Mr. Hatfield is in my sis in law's ward. This is his house/castle/park. I guess he has like 30 granddaughters and wanted to give them a place to play. For those of you with daughter I highly recommend going to this next year. It was 25 dollars and worth every penny. Caitlin's only disappointment was that I wouldn't dress up too.

So basically at the princess festival you get to go on a quest to see if you are truly a princess. You could hear Rapunzel crying for help in the tower of the castle and all the little princess needed to help save her from the ogre that had trapped her up there because he liked her to make cookies for him. They had to go see a witch to get a magic potion that would make the ogre giggle and leave the tower to save her. They learned how to properly curtsy and then had to show the prince what they had learned. They helped Cinderella get to the ball and then the prince tried a slipper on each girl to find one that fit and then he would ask each girl to dance. It was so cute!
The slipper fits!

Hurray new family pics

Yay!! we finally got our new family pictures taken. You should all be so proud of me. I said I would do something and I did it??? My Brother in Law Eric took them. He did an awesome job. Can you tell Clint picked out our theme? I wasn't thrilled about it but they turned out really cute. We are at the State Mental Hospital in Provo and were lucky to escape. ;)

Here is Daddy's little girl Caitlin. She can not get enough of her dad right now. Clint is just soaking it up because she's only 4 years away from hating all our guts!

Here's my hero and his little sideshists..... I mean sidekicks. ;) Casey hasn't quite got his superhero pose perfected yet. He doesn't spend as much time in front of the mirror practicing as much as the other two do.

My little mama's boys. They still love to rub my arms like they did when they nursed, but I like it that way! Casey is still very snuggly. I guess that is because he's the baby. He is getting very hard to carry and my family makes fun of me that I still do. It's only when he has fallen asleep in the car or is sad which is still probably way too much.

Having a daughter is great! I don't know what I would do if I had only a house full of boys to play with. Caitlin and I love doing girly things together like going to or watching all kinds of musicals, chic flicks and of course shopping together!!!

The Martinez family

Ok so I know this is an old family picture, but it's my favorite and we really need to get a new one. We have taken lots of pictures of the kids, just not one of the whole family for quite a while. That is definitely on my to do list now.

C.J. and Casey

C.J. is our low maintenance middle child who is sweet and easygoing. He is always looking in the mirror at his reflection or watching his own shadow do cool superhero poses. He loves to climb trees and anything else that will support his weight.

Casey is our sweet little mama's boy who always seems to find trouble. When he is doing something he shouldn't and I am looking right at him says "Mommy don't look at me!" . He's finding out it doesn't really work like that!

Princess Caitlin

Princess Caitlin is our only daughter and she would like to keep it that way! She loves being the only girl and says that you can't share the title of "Princess". She recently asked my Dad to please not vote for Hillary Clinton for President. When he asked "Why not?" She stated that SHE wants to be the 1st women president. She's got my vote!

Sleeping Beauty starring Caitlin!

So our most recent family excitement was Caitlin being in her school play "Sleeping Beauty." No one had any idea that the star of the show would be the evil Maleficent until they came to this production. I mean she's always been a drama queen but this was awesome! The director and the principal told us we are not allowed to move and that they are looking forward to creating plays around Caitlin for the next 3 years. I guess they thought she was good?
